Description

Delicious smashburger quesadillas with a cheesy filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking until browned.
  3. Remove beef and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, place one tortilla.
  5. Add a layer of cheese, followed by beef, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños.
  6. Top with another layer of cheese and cover with a second tortilla.
  7. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  8. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until golden brown.
  9. Remove from skillet and cut into wedges.
  10. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Notes

  • Serve with salsa and sour cream.
  • You can customize with your favorite toppings.
