Description
Delicious smashburger quesadillas with a cheesy filling.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking until browned.
- Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, place one tortilla.
- Add a layer of cheese, followed by beef, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños.
- Top with another layer of cheese and cover with a second tortilla.
- Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and cut into wedges.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Notes
- Serve with salsa and sour cream.
- You can customize with your favorite toppings.
- Use a non-stick skillet for best results.
