Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and brown patties on both sides.
  4. Place patties in slow cooker.
  5. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook briefly.
  6. Mix flour with beef broth and add to skillet, stirring to combine.
  7. Pour mixture over patties in the slow cooker.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
