Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet and brown patties on both sides.
- Place patties in slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook briefly.
- Mix flour with beef broth and add to skillet, stirring to combine.
- Pour mixture over patties in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.

- For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the beef mixture.
- Use low-sodium beef broth for a healthier option.
