Description
Tender slow cooker brisket served with a rich balsamic onion gravy.
Ingredients

- 3 to 4 pounds beef brisket
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the brisket with salt and pepper.
- Place the sliced onions in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic, and thyme.
- Pour the mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until tender.
- Remove the brisket and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with the balsamic onion gravy poured over the top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the brisket overnight.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
