Tender slow cooker brisket with rich balsamic onion gravy.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the brisket with salt and pepper.
  2. Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, beef broth, garlic, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour the mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  6. Remove brisket and let it rest before slicing.
  7. Serve with gravy from the slow cooker.
