Description

A delicious twist on classic sloppy joes with gooey grilled cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sloppy joe sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side, layer cheese and sloppy joe mixture.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Slice and serve hot.
