  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1 onion, quartered

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.

  7. Roast the turkey for about 13-15 minutes per pound.
  8. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part.
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
