Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until softened.
  3. Add shrimp and crab meat. Cook until shrimp turns pink.
  4. Stir in seafood stock and tomato paste.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream and paprika. Stir well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
