Creamy and cheesy scalloped potatoes baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the potatoes and onions in the dish.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half of the cheese.
  5. Add the remaining potatoes and onions.
  6. Pour the cream over the potatoes.
  7. Top with the remaining cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
