Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Add the remaining potatoes, followed by the rest of the cream mixture.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
