Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, brown the beef on all sides.
- Add onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and simmer for 3 hours until the beef is tender.
- Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling potatoes until soft.
- Drain and mash potatoes with milk and butter.
- Serve the beef with gravy over the fluffy mashed potatoes.

- For richer flavor, marinate the beef overnight.
