Savory beef and cheese chimichanga filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, rolled and fried to a golden crisp.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned.
- Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Lay a tortilla flat and place a portion of the beef mixture and cheese in the center.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the rolled chimichangas until golden brown on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
