A simple and delicious sausage rolls recipe that you can make at home.
Ingredients

- 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 pound sausage meat
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles.
- Place a line of sausage meat down the center of each rectangle.
- Season the sausage meat with salt and pepper.
- Roll the pastry over the sausage meat and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Cut slits on top for steam to escape.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be frozen before baking.
