Ingredients

- All-purpose flour: 1/4 cup (30 grams)
- Milk: 2 cups (480 milliliters)
- Black pepper: 1 teaspoon (or to taste)

- Biscuits: 8 store-bought or homemade
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the breakfast sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Sprinkle the all-purpose flour over the cooked sausage and stir well. Cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
- Gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add black pepper and salt, stirring well to combine. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve the sausage gravy over warm biscuits, and enjoy!
