This is a delicious salted caramel Kentucky butter cake that combines rich flavors and a moist texture.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top, followed by the rest of the caramel sauce.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Serve with extra salted caramel sauce on top.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
