A delicious salted caramel apple sheet cake that combines the flavors of caramel and apples in a moist cake.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add butter, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour the batter into a greased sheet cake pan.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top of the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Serve with extra salted caramel sauce if desired.
- Can be topped with whipped cream.
