- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons dried sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and celery, sauté until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in vegetable broth and mix until bread is moistened.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
