Ahi tuna steak inspired by Ruth’s Chris recipe.


Ingredients

  • 2 Ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the tuna steaks with the marinade.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on both sides of the steaks.
  5. Grill the steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing.
