Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Let cookies cool completely.
  9. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water to make royal icing.
