A sweet and crunchy dessert made with Ritz crackers, caramel, and chocolate.

- 1 box Ritz crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange a layer of Ritz crackers on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat until it boils.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Let the chocolate melt for a few minutes, then spread it evenly.
- Add chopped nuts if desired.
- Cool and break into pieces before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be made a day ahead.
- Adjust the amount of chocolate to your preference.
