Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add the rinsed rice and toast for 2 minutes.
- Add the water, salt, and spices.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed.
- Add vegetables and fluff with a fork.
Notes
- Adjust spices to taste.
- Substitute water with broth for added flavor.
- Let the rice sit for a few minutes before serving.
