Description
A traditional turkey stuffing for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of sage
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery, cooking until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and herbs.
- Pour the onion mixture over the bread and mix well.
- Add broth gradually until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
Notes
- You can add cooked sausage for extra flavor.
- Use gluten-free bread for a gluten-free option.
- Make ahead and refrigerate before baking.
