Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes in a greased pan.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  6. Add cream cheese frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until combined.
  7. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  9. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  10. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  11. Let the chocolate harden before serving.
