Delicious red velvet bear-shaped cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg, buttermilk, red food coloring, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
  6. Roll the dough into bear shapes and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool before serving.
