Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by cleaning it and patting it dry.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Rub the butter mixture under the skin of the turkey.
  5. Stuff the turkey with stuffing as desired.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  7. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, removing the foil in the last 30 minutes for browning.
  8. While the turkey is roasting, steam green beans until tender.
  9. Heat cranberry sauce in a small pot.
  10. Serve with pumpkin pie for dessert.
