Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
  3. Rub the turkey with butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the turkey with stuffing and place in a roasting pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix garlic, onion, carrots, and celery.
  6. Pour chicken broth over the vegetables and place around the turkey.
  7. Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  8. Remove foil and roast for an additional 30-60 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
