- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup custard
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces.
- Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of custard and a few raspberries in the center.
- Fold the dough over to seal the filling inside.
- Place the buns on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the buns cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh raspberries for the best flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These buns can be frozen for later use.
