Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the skillet.
- Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or peas.
- Use brown rice for a healthier option, but adjust cooking time.
