- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and stir until combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12 to 18 hours at room temperature.
- After resting, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Place a Dutch oven in the oven to heat for 30 minutes.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
- Carefully place the dough into the hot Dutch oven.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
