Delicious pumpkin bread filled with creamy maple cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, combine sugars, pumpkin, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Blend wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Spoon cream cheese mixture over the batter.
- Top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Best served warm.
- Add nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
