Description

Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water and butter. Bring to a boil.
- Add flour and salt. Stir until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Spoon or pipe the dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- While cooling, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Once cooled, fill the puffs with cream.
- Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the puffs are completely cool before filling.
- Store filled profiteroles in the refrigerator.
- Chocolate sauce can be made ahead of time.
