- 4 medium potatoes, grated
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Grate the potatoes and place them in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes, onion, flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Scoop the potato mixture and form small patties.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm.
