A traditional Portuguese stuffing recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 4 cups stale bread, cubed
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup chorizo, diced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and celery. Sauté until soft.
- Add chorizo and cook until browned.
- In a large bowl, combine bread, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour the sautéed mixture over the bread.
- Add chicken broth and mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use any type of bread for a different texture.
- Can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
