Description

Ingredients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 can (16 ounces) sauerkraut
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
- Place the pork in the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion, sliced apples, and sauerkraut over the pork.
- Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
- Add caraway seeds.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until pork is tender.
- Shred the pork and mix with the sauerkraut before serving.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or bread.
- You can add more apples for sweetness.
