Ingredients
- Tater tots: 1 bag (about 32 oz, frozen)
- Ground beef: 1 lb (450 g)
- Pizza sauce: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups, shredded (about 8 oz or 225 g)
- Pepperoni: 1 cup, sliced
- Bell peppers: 1 cup, diced
- Onions: 1/2 cup, diced
- Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in pizza sauce and remove from heat.
- Spread the beef and vegetable mixture in a 9×13 inch baking dish, then layer with sliced pepperoni.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the pepperoni.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the tater tots and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
