Description

A hearty and delicious pizza casserole that combines the flavors of pizza in a convenient baked dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups pasta, uncooked
  • 1 jar pizza sauce (24 oz)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and bell pepper.
  3. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread half of the mixture in a greased baking dish.
  6. Layer with half of the cheese and half of the pepperoni.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining mixture, cheese, and pepperoni.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
