A delicious fusion of pistachios and classic brownies with a kunafa twist.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups kunafa pastry, shredded
- 1 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the kunafa pastry.
- Spread the brownie batter over the kunafa.
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
- Layer the remaining kunafa on top of the pistachios.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Top with whipped cream for added flavor.
