  • 4 carrots, sliced

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Transfer the beef to the crockpot.
  3. Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
  5. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. In the last 30 minutes, add frozen peas.
  8. Remove bay leaves before serving.
