Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup, softened
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- Onion – 1 large, quartered
- Carrots – 3, chopped
- Celery – 3 stalks, chopped
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Stuffing mix – 1 package
- Cranberry sauce – 2 cups
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Potatoes – 5 lbs
- Milk – 1 cup
- Cheese – 1 cup, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with minced garlic, onion, carrots, and celery.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and add chicken broth.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Prepare stuffing according to package instructions.
- Cook green beans in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.
- Peel and chop potatoes, then boil until tender.
- Drain potatoes, add milk and cheese, and mash until smooth.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, green beans, and mashed potatoes.

- Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches or soups.
