Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture.
  6. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk, mixing well.
  7. Fold in crushed pineapple and coconut flakes.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before serving.
