Description

A quick and easy one-pan dish that combines the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with pasta.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Add the beef to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Top with provolone cheese and cover until melted.
  7. Serve hot.
