Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak served on cheesy bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup of cooked and sliced steak
  • 1/2 cup of sautéed onions
  • 1/2 cup of sautéed bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Brush the inside of the bread with olive oil.
  4. Layer the cooked steak, sautéed onions, and bell peppers on the bread.
  5. Top with shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.

  • Feel free to add mushrooms for extra flavor.
