Description
Philly cheesesteak cheesy bread is a delicious twist on the classic sandwich. It combines the flavors of steak, cheese, and peppers on a toasted bread base.

- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 pound of thinly sliced steak
- 1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup of onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the steak mixture evenly on each half of the bread.
- Top with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Use different cheeses if preferred.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
