Description

Philly cheesesteak cheesy bread is a delicious twist on the classic sandwich. It combines the flavors of steak, cheese, and peppers on a toasted bread base.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 1 pound of thinly sliced steak
  • 1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup of green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup of onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  6. Spread the steak mixture evenly on each half of the bread.
  7. Top with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
