A tasty fusion of Philly cheesesteak and egg rolls, perfect as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and green bell pepper, cook until soft.
  3. Add sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the cheese.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling on an egg roll wrapper.
  6. Roll the wrapper tightly, sealing the edges with water.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer.
  8. Fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
