A simple and delicious pesto recipe made with fresh basil.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash the basil leaves and dry them thoroughly.
- In a food processor, combine basil, Parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- With the processor running, slowly add olive oil until fully combined.
- Add salt to taste and blend again.
Notes
- Store pesto in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Can be frozen for later use.
