- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cream cheese frosting
- 1 pound white chocolate
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Add cream cheese frosting to the crumbs and mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate.
- Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into a cake ball.
- Coat each cake pop in melted chocolate and add sprinkles.
- Let them set on a stand or in a block of foam.
Notes
- Make sure the cake is completely cool before crumbling.
- Use a candy thermometer for melting chocolate.
- Store cake pops in the refrigerator if not eaten immediately.
