Instructions

  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
  10. For icing, mix powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth.
  11. Drizzle icing over cookies once cooled.
