- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1 cup powdered sugar for icing
- 2 tablespoons milk for icing
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract for icing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Stir in crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool on wire racks.
- For icing, mix powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth.
- Drizzle icing over cookies once cooled.
