Description

A spicy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich using pepper jack cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add pepper jack cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Use any bread of your choice.
  • Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Serve with tomato soup for dipping.
