Description
A spicy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich using pepper jack cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Add pepper jack cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use any bread of your choice.
- Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
- Serve with tomato soup for dipping.
