- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; stir until combined.
- Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Add the pepper jack cheese and stir until melted.
- Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less pepper jack cheese.
- For a creamier texture, add more milk.
