- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a round cake pan.
- Add brown sugar and pecans to the pan, mixing well.
- In a bowl, cream together granulated sugar and eggs.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with milk.
- Pour batter over pecans in the cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a plate.
