Description

Pecan tassies are small, sweet tarts filled with a rich pecan filling.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of mini muffin tins.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together egg, brown sugar, corn syrup, and vanilla.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the filling into each crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set.
  8. Let cool before removing from tins.
